Matthew 23:13
13 “Woe to YOU, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because YOU shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for YOU yourselves do not go in, neither do YOU permit those on their way in to go in.
My point is just that looking to the precedent cases in the Scripture (and my own experience) the fact is:
The very Father bearing witness with Holy Spirit, God himself makes the calling.
The anointing or calling in the Bible appears as a specific act/event from the part of God. An event trigged by God, For instance:
- Jesus anointing - Matthew 3:16,17 - a specific Event/Act from God
Acts 1:5 because John, indeed, baptized with water, but YOU will be baptized in holy spirit"
- Starting with Pentecost: Acts 1:5, Acts 2:3
It depends on the Father:
Acts 8:14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they dispatched Peter and John to them; 15 and these went down and prayed for them to get holy spirit. 16 For it had not yet fallen upon any one of them, but they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then they went laying their hands upon them, and they began to receive holy spirit.
"were called" - object of the action of a caller - The Father
1 Cor 1:26 For YOU behold his calling of YOU, brothers,...
Philippians 3:14 I am pursuing down toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God by means of Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 1:13 But YOU also hoped in him after YOU heard the word of truth, the good news about YOUR salvation. By means of him also, after YOU believed, YOU were sealed with the promised holy spirit
YOU heard the word of truth, also hoped , YOU believed
YOU were sealed with the promised holy spirit <--> Father's calling

Listening The Holy Spirit: The Witness from God:
Heb 2:4 while God joined in bearing witness with distributions of holy spirit according to his will?
7 For this reason, just as the holy spirit+ says: “Today if YOU people listen to his own voice, 8 do not harden YOUR hearts as on the occasion of causing bitter anger, as in the day of making the test+ in the wilderness,+ 9 in which YOUR forefathers made a test of me with a trial, and yet they had seen my works+ for forty years.+ 10 For this reason I became disgusted with this generation and said, ‘They always go astray in their hearts,+ and they themselves have not come to know my ways.’+ 11 So I swore in my anger, ‘They shall not enter+ into my rest.’”
it might be the case that "certain things" have shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men. (Matthew 23:13)
But I have trust that for everyone asking receives:
Luke 11:9 Accordingly I say to YOU, Keep on asking, and it will be given YOU; keep on seeking, and YOU will find; keep on knocking, and it will be opened to YOU. 10 For everyone asking receives, and everyone seeking finds, and to everyone knocking it will be opened. 11 Indeed, which father is there among YOU who, if his son asks for a fish, will perhaps hand him a serpent instead of a fish? 12 Or if he also asks for an egg, will hand him a scorpion? 13 Therefore, if YOU, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to YOUR children, how much more so will the Father in heaven give holy spirit to those asking him!”
Matthew 11:12 But from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of the heavens is the goal toward which men press, and those pressing forward are seizing it.

Remember that this world will be part of the Kingdom of heaven: Rev 11:15
The earth will be a paradise, it will be part (jurisdiction) of the Kingdom of Heaven.
The kingdom will come upon earth - Every PLACE in the Universe will be under the Kingdom of Heavens
